Review of Bob Bastian's "404 Self Improvement Tips - Ultimate Collection of Tips & Tactics To Increase The Quality of Your Life":

This book gives you some pretty neat ideas for saving money and so much more. Some of the ideas you have probably seen or heard of before, others are new, even to me ... ;o)


In Part 1 (Money Saving Tips), the author talks about all kinds of ways that you can save money. I'd like to share some excerpts from each section with you here now, give you an idea of what you will be missing out on, if you don't check this one out.


"19. Credit Card Interest - If you have credit cards and your credit is in good standing, call your credit card company, and ask for your interest to be lowered. It is truly that simple. Unfortunately, most people do not even realize this is an option so they never make the call. Just tell the representative that you want a better rate on your credit card and they will take care of your request."


"99. Pocket Change - Keep a jar or some type of container handy and each time you come home, drop in your change. Every time you break a bill, put the change in your container. You will be amazed how quickly your money will build.

"227. Attitude - A negative attitude can have a negative impact on your health as a positive attitude can affect your health in a positive manner. Living well has a direct correlation with a positive outlook. Keep smiling and trying to find the good in life, even when things are tough."
